Support Military Families

Our troops sacrifice a lot for our country and we often remember and honor them for their sacrifices. However, we should not forget that their families sacrifice a lot too, especially during deployment. Families often have to pick up the duties their solders were responsible for, make ends meet with reduced income, all while dearly missing their loved ones. If you have opportunities to support our troops' families, please do. Below is a list of ways you may find to support them, but feel free to be creative; they will appreciate any support you can provide.

Pray for our troops and their familes
Donate to a charity supporting military families
Take children to the movies or amusement park
Shovel snow or mow grass
Babysit
Send flowers
Make dinner or have a cookout

NMFA

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the

National Military Family Association

(NMFA.) NMFA helps prepare spouses and children of American troops, including those who have been deployed, wounded or fallen in action, to deal with the challenges unique to military life. NMFA provides such initiatives as free camps and after-school programs that provide coping skills for children of deployed service members, spouse scholarships, and funds to help support various military community programs.
